Carly Bush is a passionate advocate for governance and social impact, with over two decades of leadership experience across banking, finance, philanthropy, and community development. She brings a rare blend of strategic clarity, cultural integrity, and systems thinking to every role she undertakes.


With a deep commitment to sustainable growth and community-led change, Carly has led high-performing teams in investment management, risk, and governance—fostering resilience, innovation, and accountability. Her board experience includes serving as a Non-Executive Director and Chair for purpose-driven organisations, where she has developed robust governance frameworks that empower leaders and drive long-term impact.


Carly’s work is grounded in truth-telling, reconciliation, and amplifying community voices—particularly through initiatives that nurture creativity, cultural safety, and cross-sector collaboration.


Global Impact


Carly also supports international social impact through her work with Mission in Action, a grassroots organisation supporting vulnerable children in Kenya, and as a Non-Executive Director for the One Tribe Mama Project Kenya, which empowers women and girls through culturally safe, community-led development. Her global advocacy reflects a deep commitment to ethical collaboration, creative empowerment, and sustainable change.

She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), holds an MBA, and has earned a Graduate Certificate in Innovation.
